Dr. Ellis has degrees from Union University, Trinity Western University, and the University of Oxford, where he earned a D.Phil. in Theology (New Testament). He is the author of The Hermeneutics of Divine Testing: Cosmic Trials and Biblical Interpretation in the Epistle of James and Other Jewish Literature. He has also contributed chapters to several scholarly books, including The Greek Verb Revisited. Dr. Ellis has a background in both international mission work and the academy. He was raised in Brazil and has spent much of his life living abroad, working and teaching in South America, Western and Eastern Europe, and East Africa. His academic career has focused on biblical studies (primarily Jewish and Christian origins) and biblical languages. He currently serves as the CEO of EDiGlobal, an organization promoting biblical and theological education across the global Christian community. He also serves as a member of the teaching faculty at Grace School of Theology (Houston, TX).

Dr. Runge received his BA in Speech Communication (Western Washington University), a Master of Theological Studies in Biblical Languages (Trinity Western Seminary in Langley, B.C.), and Doctor of Literature in Biblical Languages (University of Stellenbosch in South Africa). He serves as Scholar-in-Residence at Logos Bible Software and as a research associate affiliated with the Department of Ancient Studies, University of Stellenbosch. He is the author of Discourse Grammar of the Greek New Testament: A Practical Introduction for Teaching and Exegesis, High Definition Commentary: Philippians, and High Definition Commentary: Romans. Michael Aubrey earned a M.A. in Linguistics and Exegesis from Trinity Western University in British Columbia, Canada. His thesis was titled “The Greek Perfect and the Categorization of Tense and Aspect: Toward a Descriptive Apparatus for Operators in Role and Reference Grammar.” He also studied at the Canada Institute of Linguistics. He specializes in Cognitive-Functional approaches to language, with particular interest in Koine Greek. Currently, he works as a Language Editor for Logos Bible Software but is in the process of transitioning to Wycliffe Bible Translators/SIL International. He is also the senior editor for Koine-Greek.com, which focuses on making technical linguistic research more accessible and available for students and scholars.
