Each semester Dr. Akin addresses questions submitted by the student body. The questions often range from issues of theology and biblical interpretation to politics and Georgia football.

Preaching from Galatians 6, Dr. Akin speaks about the marks of a cross-centered ministry and how these marks are seen in the life and ministry of the first Baptist missionary to the nations, George Leile, a former African slave who planted the Gospel in Jamaica.
IX Marks at 9 Panel – 2010 SBC Annual Meeting
Dr. Akin met with Dr. Mohler, David Platt and Mark Dever on Tuesday night of the SBC Annual Meeting to talk about the Great Commission Resurgence, church planting, theological education and the importance of the local churches participation in pastoral training.
